The Witcher : Season of Storms by Andrzej Sapkowski

The Witcher: Season of Storms is a standalone novel set in the Witcher universe, written by Andrzej Sapkowski. Unlike the main Witcher Saga, this story takes place earlier in the timeline and focuses on an independent adventure of the famous monster hunter Geralt of Rivia.

The novel captures the essence of the original Witcher short stories—combining monster hunting, political intrigue, dark magic, and philosophical reflections. As Geralt becomes entangled in a dangerous conspiracy involving stolen weapons and powerful sorcerers, he must navigate a web of deception and unexpected enemies.

The story emphasizes that even the most experienced witcher can be caught in conflicts far more complicated than simple monster contracts.
