Alchemised by Saskia Maarleveld, SenLinYu

At its core, Alchemised follows Helena Marino, a former alchemist and healer who wakes up after months in stasis with no memory of crucial events leading up to her capture. After a brutal civil war, Paladia is controlled by corrupt guild families and necromancers whose undead forces helped secure their victory. Helena’s resistance fighters have been killed or disbanded, and she is left alone, imprisoned and bewildered.

According to resistance records, she was of little importance, but her unexplained memory loss has powerful enemies wondering whether she holds the final secret of the Resistance in her erased mind. To uncover these buried memories, she is taken to the estate of the High Reeve, one of the most dangerous necromancers in Paladia. Trapped in his crumbling stronghold, Helena must fight to protect her remaining sense of self — and unearth secrets that may change everything.

The story is told in three parts, including flashbacks to four years before Helena’s capture, deepening the mystery and revealing her past as the narrative unfolds.
